August 2019.
Great deal for a great slice. Don't let the building's appearance fool you.
I had a slice of cheese with a side of marinara sauce. About $4.50
Cheese Slice:
HUGE. One slice is like two large slices of pizza from anywhere else. The slice is regular on the sauce but heavy on the cheese. It's hot and fresh and the cheese does that stringy thing when you pull it apart (see photo). The dough is great. It has that crunchy bottom but soft top that I personally look for in a pizza slice.
Marinara:
Solid marinara. I was surprised to see mushrooms in it, but pleasantly so.
Garlic Knots:
More like regular rolls with a garlic dipping sauce. Had a bite of a friend's portion. The bread was 10/10 and the garlic sauce was 8/10. Bread would be great dipped in marinara too.
Service:
Fast and efficient. They will spare a smile, but only briefly bc they have to get back to work.
Will definitely return. -

I usually love Casolas. We have been going there for years.I had not been there in quite
awhile. So my son was in the area
& decided to suprise me with one of their
super subs.I can eat off the thing for 2 days.
However what I received was a sub on a totally
burnt roll. All I can taste is burnt bread. Geez,
Thanks for the fond memories. -

Its 2019, why doesn't this restaurant accept debit or credit cards?
Its pretty ridiculous at this point.
The pizza is pretty good. -

I love that the pineapple on their Hawaiian pizza is caramelized this is the first time I've seen a place in Miami that does that. One slice is definitely enough for 2 people, when you order here keep in mind all their portions are huge. I will definitely be back!

I learnt about this place from a former co-worker that would bring us pizza from Casola's. Their pizza is amazing and very filling! I've also visited their location and the customer service received was friendly and fast (those are things that make me want to stop by again). If you order pizza with any toppings be ready to have a whole lot of toppings on it (I like that they're not stingy about it)...even the cheese pizza alone has a good amount.
Place inside looks a bit outdated, could use a bit of an update.
I ordered cannolis and they were soft. Come on, we all know cannolis cannot be soft and the issue is because they placed them in the fridge. Cannoli shells should be left empty and filled upon order to preserve and crunch and freshness (just a tip for the restaurant...you're welcome).
Overall definitely recommend you try their pizza!
